Eclipse Survival Guide: Let Go, Level Up, and Try Not to Lose Your Mind!
Turns out, the New Moon Eclipse on 29 March is going to be a crowded event with an intriguing stellium influencing the closing of the eclipse portal.

The solar eclipse at the end of the month will be unique, much like all eclipses are. I won’t go too much into it, as plenty has been written about it already.
In case you’ve missed it:
The Aries New Moon is a powerful reset point, emphasising new beginnings, courage, and self-initiation. (Subscribers will be able to read about a little self-initiation ritual I put myself through during the lunar eclipse two weeks earlier).
Some other astrological factors influence this trigger for “powerful new beginnings, transformation, and profound shifts in identity and leadership.” One of which is a very juicy T-square between Chiron, Mars, and Black Moon Lilith (currently writing, so stay tuned for that …). The other is a magnificent stellium with four bodies and a node (as well as getting some outside influence from two of the big outers that seem to be dominating world events right now. This is the focus of this article.
If you don’t want to read the details, skip down to the end, where I’ve summed it up for you in neat little bullet points.
Mercury Retrograde
(You can skip ahead if you know this bit; it’s for the noobs)
While the Sun–Moon conjunction is happening at 8° Aries, that slippery little sucker Mercury is leaving Aries (0°) and wanting to jump onto the Pisces Stellium massage train.
Just in case this is the first time you’ve read about what Mercury doing the moonwalk means:
Mental review and reevaluation of new ideas, plans, or actions
Potential delays or miscommunications, but also deep insights into personal direction and self-expression.
The Pisces Stellium Massage Train
I like to describe stelliums as being akin to a massage train.
Imagine four or five people sitting in line, massaging each other’s shoulders.
The person at the back of the train is not directly massaging the person at the front; they are only directly influencing the person in front of them with their awesome massage magic. We can say the same for each person in the line. However, the person at the front is indirectly receiving the benefits from everyone else in the train even though they are only directly being massaged by the person behind them.
The same can be said for Mercury, Neptune, Venus, Saturn, and the North Node. And, because of this, the Sun–Moon conjunction (we’ll get to that in a bit).
By definition, a stellium is a cluster of points in the same sign. Each of the individual placements in Pisces is bringing these vibes to the train:
Neptune (29°): Heightened intuition, spiritual endings, and dissolution of boundaries
Venus Retrograde (28°): Re-evaluation of love, values, and relationships, with a focus on compassion and spiritual connection
North Node (26°): Karmic growth through surrender, spirituality, and empathy
Saturn (24°): Discipline and structure in spiritual or creative pursuits; facing reality in dreamy or nebulous areas
But Mercury is retrograding and thus approaching Neptune quite quickly, only 2° away. Albeit he’s at 0° Aries, he is definitely part of the massage train (or at least rushing to get to the front of it).
With Mercury’s conjunction with Neptune, we get a little tension happening in the cluster. Aries drives action, independence, and self-focus, while Pisces emphasises surrender, compassion, and unity. Thus, his influence on the stellium suggests the eclipse is awakening us to find the balance between "me" (Aries) and "we" (Pisces).
The stellium is driving a spiritual awakening, especially with Neptune at 29°, suggesting a culmination of spiritual cycles and the need to release illusions or outdated dreams.
Venus retrograde and the North Node highlight fated re-evaluations of love, values, and soul purpose.
Overall, this all points to a fated, transformative period blending new beginnings with spiritual endings (timely, as we have just had the March Equinox and the start of the ‘astrological’ year. It’s also a call to balance assertiveness with compassion and to align actions with a higher spiritual purpose. If there is anything the world needs right now (especially y’all in America), it’s this!
Coming in From the Outside
Adding Uranus at 24° Taurus and Pluto at 3° Aquarius to the mix brings significant transformative and innovative energy to the configuration.
Uranus in Taurus is totally disrupting finances, values, and material stability. The sextile to the stellium suggests these changes will be influenced by spiritual growth and creative or emotional release. To be fair, this will not bring succour to those experiencing such disruptions. But Uranus’ disruptive influence can often be for the better in the long term. The Taurean influence helps ground the nebulous Pisces energy into tangible, practical forms. So, if you find the eclipse triggers these kinds of changes, look for new ways of earning, investing, or valuing resources. Uranus also triggers sudden insights or events, catalysing the release of old patterns and inspiring new, unconventional approaches.
I wouldn’t usually include Pluto at 3° Aquarius influencing points at 24–29° Pisces or even at 8° Aries. However, I think the stellium with Mercury at 0° Aries warrants the sextile alignment there, and given there is a significant event occurring at 8° Aries (not just any point, but a Sun–Moon conjunction causing an eclipse), I believe it also plays its part. In this sense, it brings insights into how we communicate, think, and initiate actions and pushes for transformation in spiritual, emotional, and creative realms.
This alignment suggests that any personal transformations are tied to larger societal or technological shifts, especially in areas like spirituality, art, or humanitarian efforts. The chaos of far-right governments disrupting liberal democracies is troubling but also fertile ground for us all to find the power within us to defend what is good and just for the collective, not just for the wealthy few. But we can’t just dream or ‘pray’ for it — we must ground our ideals into tangible actions. Before you can start a revolution, you need to sort your own shit out first.
This eclipse will trigger a powerful, fated period of spiritual and practical transformation driven by unexpected changes and deep, soul-level evolution. The energy encourages balancing action, surrender (letting go), and innovation to align personal growth with collective progress.
TL;DR — What Do I Need to Know/Do?
Assert yourself without losing compassion.
Speak your truth calmly and clearly, even in difficult conversations.
Use “I” statements (e.g., “I feel …” or “I need …”) to express boundaries without blame.
Listen actively before responding — understanding others doesn’t mean agreeing with them.
Choose your battles wisely; not every disagreement needs to be won.
Let go of what no longer serves you.
Declutter — physically, emotionally, and mentally. Donate old belongings, release grudges, or leave draining situations.
If a habit or belief makes you feel stuck, ask yourself: “Does this still align with who I am becoming?”
Create a small ritual (journalling, burning old notes, meditation) to symbolise release.
Align with what truly resonates.
Pay attention to what lights you up — joy and ease are clues to your true path.
Reduce time spent on obligations that feel forced or inauthentic.
Trust your instincts when making decisions, even if they don’t make immediate sense to others.
Ground your dreams in reality with practical steps.
Break big ideas into small, actionable goals with deadlines.
Set up a daily or weekly habit that moves you toward your vision.
Seek guidance from someone who has already achieved what you aspire to.
Double-check details, but follow your gut.
Re-read emails, contracts, and messages before hitting ‘send’ — Mercury Rx loves miscommunication.
If something feels “off,” pause and gather more information before acting.
Keep a notebook to track intuitive hits; noticing patterns builds trust in your instincts.
Be open to unconventional solutions for earning, investing, and securing resources.
Consider alternative income streams — freelancing, passive income, or creative side hustles.
Barter skills or services if money is tight.
Research sustainable and ethical investments that align with your values.
Change yourself to help change the world.
Educate yourself on causes that matter to you and take small, consistent actions.
Model the change you want to see — kindness, integrity, and courage are contagious.
Join a local or online community working toward meaningful change.
Ground spiritual insights into tangible efforts for real impact.
Turn wisdom into action — don’t just meditate on compassion, practise it.
Align your daily routine with your values, whether through ethical choices, activism, or creative expression.
When inspired, act immediately — momentum fades if insights stay theoretical.
